Imagine having a huge waterfall in your backyard? We could hear the gushing sound of the water as we walked round the little village. I walked into a little restaurant which has a good view of the waterfall. The owner politely asked if I were going to take pictures of the view, in which case I'll need to pay. Yes, you have to pay for every mountain, village, waterfall . . . in China.

From Hunan to Guizhou, we have been served many dishes prepared from cured meats, unlike your bacon they are a bit tough and salty. But maybe that's how the locals enjoy them. Behind the display is an old poster of the movie Lotus town.
